Thankfully, that's not the case—even Aileen Cannon, who sucks up to Donald as naturally as she draws breath, is finding it hard to throw the case for him given Jack Smith's got a hawk's eye on her shenanigans, especially as it becomes more and more likely that DT did a great deal worse than just hang onto some potentially TOP SECRET material for personal profit like Hillary Rodham Clinton did (yes, I have NOT forgotten or forgiven "But Her E-mails"!), but actively shared those contents like they were party favors with agents for foreign governments, including those whose interests are openly hostile to our own!
Because treason is treason, and Hillary Rodham Clinton got to skip away from it without punishment. The fact that she had her e-mail server wiped ("like, with a cloth?") before the FBI got their hands on it should have been enough to find her guilty of some felony, but her ex-President husband leaned on the current Attorney General to give her a pass.
I despised her for her treatment of Bernie Sanders, who SHOULD have been President, even before then—but watching her do something she would have had Julian Assange or Edward Snowden killed for? Is enraging to me. And that doesn't even cover her "Pied Piper Strategy" which gave us President Donald Trump....
That doesn't excuse what Trump's done in slightest, and I will dancing in the street when he finally gets measured for an orange jumpsuit. But 2016 could have given us one of the best Presidents we've ever had, but instead we got two of the worst choices.
We need to mobilize. Write postcards if you can afford the stamps. Make calls, which requires a computer and the ability to read a script off your screen. Ring doorbells. Do whatever you can. This is far more important than 2020.
But, unfortunately, there is corruption in the Supreme Court. And, throughout DC. Now what? Where does one start to clean "house"? And, can it be done before the next election?
