Here's what made him furious

Today was packed with THREE embarrassing Donald losses that were so bad for him, I didn’t want you to miss a single one. And I saved the best for last (plus 2 bonuses)! Read on.👇

1. BAD: Donald BAILED on doing his own closing argument.

Judge Engoron initially showed openness to Donald’s doing his own closing arguments in his fraud trial. In a heated and honestly laughable email exchange with Donald’s lawyers, however Engoron told Donald he wouldn't be allowed to “comment on irrelevant matters” or “deliver a campaign speech”.

His lawyer replied that these completely standard terms are "very unfair." 😂

“I won’t debate this yet again. Take it or leave it,” Judge Engoron said. Surprise— Donald left it!

From my experience, Donald has never met a challenge he didn’t cower away from. He simply can’t handle rules and constraints – not in the family, not in business, and certainly not in the court room.

Because at this point he has the mind-set and self-restraint of a toddler, he’s set to lose potentially hundreds of millions of dollars.

And that’s just the beginning!

2. WORSE: Chris Christie Dropped Out… But Took Donald Down With Him

Here are key quotes from Christie’s concession speech.

"I have known him well for 22 years... If you put him back behind the desk in the Oval Office… and the decision is needed to be made – as to whether he puts himself first or he puts you first – how much more evidence do you need that he will pick himself?”

Well, I could’ve given you the answer 50 years ago – Donald will only and always choose himself. And just as we did in 2020, it’s crucial for us all to keep spreading the word.

"Trump is unfit to be President...other candidates who are unwilling to say that are also unfit to be President."

Yes. Now, if Christie had an ounce of integrity, he’d endorse the only decent candidate left running – President Biden.

“I beseech you, I beg you to vote based on character. All the rest of the things can change. Character doesn’t change.”

But the humiliation – one that’s really going to leave a mark – came from attacking Donald’s character on Capitol Hill:

3. WORST: Jamie Raskin and Jared Moskowitz Steal The Hunter Biden Show To Ruin Donald In Front Of All His Fans

Donald finally got what he wanted – Hunter Biden paraded before Congress, with Republican Representatives forcing voters to look away from Donald’s own corruption (as well as theirs).

But Congressional Democrats had other plans.

First, Rep. Jared Moskowitz, knowing the right wing is obsessed with Jeffrey Epstein, brought in an enormous photograph of Donald and Epstein together, and then, over Republicans objections, they refused to take it down. During a brief recess taken to get Marjorie Taylor Greene under control, Moskowitz waved the picture around to mock her.

Then it was Jamie Raskin’s turn. As always, this indispensable member of Congress went straight at his target, armed with the facts and more intelligence in his little finger than is possessed by the entire Republican caucus.

Raskin picked up on Donald’s lawyers’ arguments (which I covered extensively with Jen Taub yesterday) that he could do whatever he wanted while in office with absolute impunity. “He’s asserting the right of the president to murder people!” Raskin exclaimed.

Then Raskin exposed what the entire witch hunt is all about.

“Donald Trump says, ‘I don’t want to be the only one running for president who’s been impeached. Impeach Biden. Figure out something!’ We were here for a year! You guys did not lay a glove on Joe Biden. You don’t have a single credible piece of evidence…

So, why are we here? ‘Well, we can’t go after Joe Biden. He’s clean. Let’s go after Hunter Biden.’”

Check. Mate.

If possible, it got even worse:

Donald won’t be on the Nevada ballot—not because of some nefarious Democratic plot, but because his own team decided to have him run in the Republican caucus instead.

Plus, he just got news that he’ll be in and out of court only a week before the Iowa caucuses…

Honestly, getting you the word about EVERY Donald embarrassment, scheme, and blunder is an all-encompassing duty. But I’m hell bent on using this platform to energize our base in 2024, to stop Donald from destroying our democracy.
