Why don’t you have a donate button for paid subscribers just in case we want to pop you some more cash every now and then.

A donate button would help me, on a fixed retirement income, to support you with “a cup of coffee” when I can.

Great idea, I have a paid scrip for Mary but I have so many writers I'd like to help a couple times a year if I can figure out how to do it. I'm sure many would like to do the same for Mary if there's an easy button ♥️

COMPLETELY agree. It not only adds a revenue bump, it also provides tangible feedback to Mary about what kinds of info really strike a nerve in uncommitted, on-the-fencers.

I guess that would depend on how much a transaction costs on this website. Between something like Woo Commerce, Authorizenet, and credit card charges, she might not be able to accept a mere $5 without paying that much to execute the transaction. But if she gives us account info to donate through a Venmo type service, but I'm not sure if that might shut out a chunk of the older demographic who don't have much experience with that kind of service.

I am disabled on a fixed income. So I cant afford the paid subscription.

But I really do appreciate you keeping us updated on breaking news and in the know about what is going on with the Tangerine Toddler! 😃

I'm in the same boat too, as Karen M. And, I have much gratitude for all of Mary's efforts and insights to help our country weather this horrendous storm we're currently dealing with. If things change on my end, then I will definitely begin providing some financial support for this very worthy cause. Thanks again, Mary, for all you do for us.

That's the hardest thing for me. I'd subscribe to most substack writers if I were able. It adds up, though. I had to cut back. Sometimes I rotate them - cancel one, subscribe to another. I love good writing from people who know what their talking about.

I'm up to three substack subscriptions and will keep it there. All three including Mary's are all very informative and well written. They all share a very important goal and that's to keep dangerous demented Don out of the Oval Office, retake the House and keep the Senate so we don't go back 50 years and become a theocratic autocracy.

For now I agree with you to keep your substack open for the low/no income people who deserve to know the truth. We are stronger together and the fight is real! Thank you Mary for being the good family member. Like Glinda the good one from the North!

So free content is important. I sure miss the nerd Avengers though, especially when Jen gets pissed and start’s letting the f bomb fly. lol. Slava Ukraine, Slava America!

I'm a senior on a small fixed income, and my husband is ten years older than I. I've donated to politics websites, and candidates since I was 17 years old. I simply cannot afford to subscribe anymore, and I feel that I will lose most of the information that I need. But it is impossible for me to subscribe to you or any of the other sites I wish to support. I feel more and more isolated now than I ever had before. I wish I could help, but I cannot.

I know it's hard not to feel isolated during these tumultuous times. I am a senior too and the only reason I'm able to do a little more is bc I get paid to care for my 83 year old Mother and that's not easy because my health isn't the greatest either. But it does help. Did you know Substack has a Direct Messaging feature? I just found that out a couple of days ago. 😆 🤣 So if you get too lonely and need someone to talk to please reach out. We are all dealing with the fear, worry and anxiety of what's going to happen in the next 7 months. I am trying hard to channel my fears into action but I am not always successful. Anyway I keep pushing on. Just please know you're not alone. Like Joyce Vance says, We are in this together. Thank God for that right?!!! ❤️🇺🇸💙

This is sooo helpful! I did not know about the DM feature. For most of my life I wouldn't hesitate to pay for an important site, but I just can't; but being cut off from the news and commentary I need is extremely stressful. I will be 74 in May, and my husband is 84, still trying to bring in income so we can care for our elderly rescue dogs. I now consider you a friend, Lisa. I just lost a dear friend, so I'm feeling especially vulnerable right now. Thank you so much for this information. Hopefully, we can give each other strength to see this nightmare through.

as all my family members are Trump supporters except for my oldest daughter and she lives in Florida so it gets very lonely at times. I am happy to gain a new friend.

Hope you have a good day Faith so let's talk soon. By the way I'm 63 almost 64. 🥰

Your doing a wonderful job Mary, I really think you should expand into Countries such as hear in Australia, Trump caused and cost us financially a dreadful amount, to our businesses, Agriculture, livestock? Seafood industry, forestry, farming, all our exporting businesses, with his big mouth, and Tarrifs , busting thousands of Businesses threw out Australia, Ships stranded in China full of Lobsters, cattle our wheat and grain industries, all put into ruins because of trump, it was hard enough dealing with COVID, but we didn’t have a problem with our export's to china etc, until Trump came along, and Australian Businesses did not have the money to fund Tarriffs to china, to get the Cargo ships unloaded, I just think you may very well find a good financial following and support ftom many Australians, our coal and steel industries, there are many of us, wonting to stop trump, and his maga clowns, whom just don’t seem to have any understanding of the damage trumps actions cause, Telling American farmers look at the money I got you from the Tariffs, well Trump how about announcing the money paid to china, I’ve no doubt would be triple if not more, than what you got back, I just wonder, how much dumber can one man possibly be, seems it’s an endless pit, to trumps idiotic stupidity, just endless, so yes chase the support threw YouTube etc, I’m confident you will gain a very big following from countries such as us whom was put into ruins on top of dealing with COVID, he had people hear in australia buying ivermectin cattle and sheep drench, refusing to were masks, skin heads proud boys, these groups getting into Australia, it was so good to see the Australian Government refuse the Travel Visa for the trumps in Australia, they are not allowed in, they are Barred from entering our country

Cheers jo
