Mary Trump: I had a chat with Waj Ali, proprietor of The Left Hook, about, among other things, just who among us has not had a Russian oligarch finance our wedding. Enjoy.
Wajahat Ali: Folks, it’s Mary Trump, the one good Trump. Maybe there’s a couple more.
Mary Trump: There’s one more. One more, and it’s my kid, and that’s it.
Wajahat Ali: Mary, how many Russian oligarchs continue to subsidize your luxurious lifestyle? Please tell the world.
Mary Trump: That’s so funny. I thought that was going to be a light bulb joke. How many Russian oligarchs does it take? Weirdly, I get no money from Russian oligarchs or, and this is even stranger, Soros.
Wajahat Ali: Where did you fail in life? Can you pinpoint that one moment where you failed so horrifically that no Russian oligarch would shamelessly subsidize your wedding?
Mary Trump: Sadly for me, it was the moment I developed a conscience. So it’s been a while, unfortunately, because Waj and I talk about this all the time. If we were just willing to be corrupt fascists, we would be so well off we wouldn’t need a Russian oligarch to finance our wedding.
And I think that’s the thing that makes it even worse. Donald’s useless children. They are useless. They are unintelligent, unaccomplished, useless people. They have made billions of dollars grifting off the American people, using the power of the presidency to leverage these ridiculous deals they never, ever would’ve gotten. He could have afforded his own wedding, but no, no. We needed to defray costs by involving a Russian, and God knows what kind of deal that was. I’ll give you a few. And by the way, the wedding was hundreds of thousands of dollars. Hundreds of thousands of what?
Wajahat Ali: For those who don’t know what we’re talking about, earlier today, ProPublica had a massive bombshell. Look at this winner here. Don Jr.’s wedding in the Bahamas cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Nearly $200,000 of that hundreds of thousands of dollars wedding was footed by Russian oligarch Umar Kremlev, as one does, including renting out a private island and paying for the fireworks show.
Now, Bettina Trump, wife of Trump Jr., posted a lengthy Instagram caption two hours ago responding to ProPublica reporting that a Russian oligarch paid over $170,000 for her wedding. This is what she said:
Apparently our wedding is making headlines again, so a little clarity seems in order. Don and I got married privately on Friday, surrounded only by our family. It was intimate, deeply personal, and one of the most beautiful days of our lives. The week following had actually been planned in advance as a fun weekend with friends.
It was never intended to be our wedding weekend. When our original wedding plans changed, we simply decided to get married before and arrived at an already planned weekend as newlyweds.
She admits it. Here we go:
Our dear friend Umar very generously hosted two incredible nights of celebration for us after our wedding.
Because it makes it better, Mary. She continued:
It was an extraordinarily generous wedding gift from a friend and something for which we remain incredibly grateful. It’s unfortunate that something so personal and happy can be recast as something political or sinister simply because of who someone is or where they come from. Friendship doesn’t require a political motive. Generosity doesn’t automatically come with an agenda. And sometimes a wedding gift of $170,000 is simply a wedding gift. We’re fortunate to have wonderful friends from all over the world, and we will never be embarrassed or apologetic about being grateful for them.
So for anyone determined not to let the facts get in the way of a good story, no conspiracy, no mystery, just a private family wedding, a wonderful weekend with friends and one hell of a party. If fake news travels fast, we figured the truth deserved a few pictures. With love and gratitude, Don and Bettina.
Mary Trump: And I didn’t look too closely at that picture because why would I? But the only family on Donny’s side I saw was, what’s her name? Tiffany.
Wajahat Ali: Yeah, she got the pity invite. Where was Don?
Mary Trump: Well, Donald was busy playing golf. Sorry, figuring out other ways to lose the Iran war he started. But I didn’t see anybody, any of his other siblings, but whatever. These people are shameless, and I think that’s part of the strategy. If they’re so open about it, how could it be bad? How could it be bad? And it also just shows you that they will stop at nothing. And unless they get stopped, this is just the way it’s going to be.
Wajahat Ali: There you go.
Mary Trump: So you and I have talked often about the fact that Donald will never, ever get the kind of accountability he deserves.
Wajahat Ali: Never.
Mary Trump: However, if you think that his grifting, corrupt children and the enablers of Donald should be held accountable, well, that kind of makes it very important to elect people who will do that.
Wajahat Ali: Okay, so Mary, we’ve kind of talked about this, and I don’t want to depress people, but I will. I said in the first Trump administration, just knowing how this town works, I’m in Virginia, close to D.C., knowing how this town works, it’s a big club. Mary’s not in it. Her wedding was not subsidized by a Russian oligarch. My wedding was not subsidized by a Russian oligarch. I had a shotgun elopement, and I took my wife to Ravi Kabob and spent 20 bucks, and she was happy with my 1997 Toyota Camry.
In this big club, regardless of Democrats, Republicans, or independents, they’re all buddy buddies. They all get paid from the same super PACs. They all go to the same clubs. They all have sex with each other. They all cheat on each other. And what they say is:
You scratch my back, I scratch your back.
Look what happened to Nixon. Nothing. Look what happened to the companies that created the worst financial recession of our lifetime. Nothing. Look what happened when Merrick Garland was the attorney general. Donald Trump should be in prison. He’s a convicted criminal, right? I’m not making this up. Held liable for rape and fraud and defamation. Also, we don’t know why he stole secret data and kept it in Mar a Lago. He gets reelected.
Mary, I think people need to not make peace, but kind of appreciate that these people are openly grifting now in front of our face, openly admitting that they just took this favor from a Russian oligarch to the tune of nearly $200,000 because they know nothing, and I mean nothing, is going to happen to them even when Democrats take the House and the Senate.
Mary Trump: I have a slightly different view. I think it’s because they’re so entitled that it doesn’t even occur to them that there will be accountability because they’re better than we are. I mean, she essentially said:
We’re rich. We’re unapologetic about it. We’re going to do whatever we want. And if you have a problem with that, it’s because you’re just trying to destroy our joy.
Wajahat Ali: You’re a hater.
Mary Trump: Well, yeah, you’re a hater, and we’re letting facts get in the way of a good story. It’s so transparently obnoxious and arrogant and let them eat cake ish. But I take your point about D.C. and the culture there, and we’ve seen plenty of evidence that there are far too many Democrats who participate. And again, I think that the amount of harm the Democrats do or the extent to which they participate in this, it’s not nearly as horrific as the Republicans.
If for no other reason than the Democrats actually do believe in the Constitution and civil rights and all that stuff we so desperately need to protect. But the other thing, and again, I know it is kind of our job to depress. No, it’s not. But we have to be honest about where we are as a country right now, for sure, where we are as a political party, but we’re the only people who can change that.
And as you know, and some of you reading know, my wife Ronda and I started a PAC, that’s a political action committee. It’s called Transcend PAC. Check it out. And we’ve been meeting with a lot of candidates who are absolutely amazing. There are people running for state Supreme Courts, for legislature, attorney general, Congress, Senate, governor, and they absolutely understand what’s going on, and they are dedicated to being part of the change.
And those are the only kinds of candidates we’re endorsing. So that is actually, in what is a very dark time, something that gives me a lot of hope because they understand that if we want to change the course this country is currently on, which is a very dark one, we have to change the way we do things. And they’re dedicated to being part of that, to being civil servants. What a concept.
Wajahat Ali: I just posted the link, and I appreciate you kind of filtering these candidates and supporting the right ones. But there’s a reason why anyone who’s reading The Left Hook, I’ve said for a year, it’s not just affordability. I need to hear from a candidate their plans on affordability and accountability. I always add accountability precisely for this reason, because I know how the town works. I know what’s going to happen. They all fail up. They all fail up.
Dick Cheney, war criminal, got a hero sendoff. George W. Bush is seen as an eccentric painter who gives toffee to Michelle Obama. And I know when Donald dies, I can write the obituary for you right now:
An unorthodox candidate who shot from the hip, spoke America’s rage. Even though he was rough around the edges, nonetheless, it was the age of Donald.
That’s how they’re going to lead it, right? And you’re seeing these corporate establishment hacks going to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, chatting it up with Stephen Miller, chatting it up with Donald Trump, smiling and laughing as he mocks them. And you’re seeing this utter lack of accountability.
I want to just give a data point because, like you said, Mary, I think it’s arrogance. I think it’s ignorance. I think it’s let them eat cake. But I also think there’s a component of nothing’s going to happen to us, which is why Jared and Ivanka can openly say:
We’re going to buy this Albanian island.
And then you saw Ivanka release that weird video of her with arms ablaze, going 40 miles per hour on the beach with a horse. Then you see that kid Trump, who’s supposed to be in college, showing off her luxury apartment as people can’t afford gas and grocery prices.
But check this out, folks. I don’t want this story to die. Just to show you how bad this oligarch is, just real quick, Mary, this little factoid here, why I desperately need a Democrat who’s a fighter. Anne Applebaum, who some opinions I agree with, many I don’t, but I’ve had her on the show. Kremlev, the Russian who sponsored Don Jr.’s wedding, is a former member of the Night Wolves biker gang, went to China with Putin, and is personally sanctioned by Ukraine for his role in abducting Ukrainian children.
Mary Trump: Well, look, that’s all of a piece. I mean, the Republican Party is the party of corruption, fascism, pedophilia, protecting pedophiles.
Wajahat Ali: Nazis. Nazis.
Mary Trump: Well, I said fascists, but...
Wajahat Ali: Nazis.
Mary Trump: Well, they’re slightly different things, but yes, both of them. Hold on a second. Cap, sorry. My cat is missing. Cap, come here.
Wajahat Ali: Sorry. Over the weekend, real quick, as you’re getting your cat in check, Jake Tapper had just one scintilla of spine, playing Mike Johnson footage of Republican candidate Brandon Herrera describing moms as “cum trophies,” mentioned he called Nazi machine guns “the original ghetto blasters,” and asked Johnson how he can support him. Johnson said:
Herrera has run a very effective campaign. That was his online persona.
Mary Trump: That’s right. He didn’t mean it.
Wajahat Ali: No.
Mary Trump: And we’ve heard that about other people. It’s just an act. We’ve heard that about Russia. You know what? There’s a point at which it doesn’t matter, right? Mike Johnson is one of the worst people. He’s up there with Andrew Tate. God knows what secrets that guy has.
So the point is that the Republican Party is against the Western alliance that we created in the wake of World War II. They’re actively supporting Russia against Ukraine, including people who aren’t even part of our government, like Jared Kushner. They’re shameless. They are arrogant. They are vile. And they don’t care about anything except their bottom line, their wealth, their power.
And I think that it is very important that we not let the page be turned on this because I know that once Donald is out, in whatever way that happens, every single one of them, to a person, is going to say:
Hey, it wasn’t us. We were just doing what we were told.
Wajahat Ali: We were just following orders, like Eichmann.
Mary Trump: Following orders because they’re Nazis. But that also includes so called Never Trump people who are very much responsible for having us here. So they should not have a say in anything going forward.
And that’s why Democrats who care, Democrats who understand, have to realize that it’s their job to start challenging the so called establishment Democrats who aren’t doing nearly enough to demonstrate to the American people that they’re willing to fight for the right thing, that they’re willing to stand up, and that they believe in justice and America more than they believe in this false notion of bipartisanship and collegiality.
Wajahat Ali: Before we get to Democrats and Jared Kushner, excellent setup for me because I was going to go there, Mary. This is why I have you on the show. You do the work for me. I just wanted to put a fine point on the Nazis because there’s lots of Nazi content coming out in the last 10 years.
A campaign staffer for Senator Jon Husted, Republican of Ohio, once used a photo of Nazi soldiers as his Facebook profile photo, which one of us hasn’t, and recently added to a playlist of songs celebrating Rhodesia. You know, that defunct white minority ruled nation, often venerated by white supremacists. And also we found out that Nate Hochman, if I have his name correct, who also promoted neo Nazi ideologies, failed up with a new job in the State Department.
And we also know that the Trump administration, specifically through DHS and the Department of Labor, openly promotes Nazi ideology and conspiracy theories such as remigration, which is a term used in white supremacist and neo Nazi circles calling for the ethnic cleansing of America of brown and Black people. But don’t call them Nazis.
Mary Trump: Well, listen, Waj, I mean, it’s just the fact that the vice president of the United States can stand up and say the problem is that people say he’s racist simply for pointing out, simply pointing out the fact that America is dirtier, poorer. And did he say darker or browner? I’m not sure, but he may as well have. I mean, it’s so in your face.
And again, along with the corruption, I worry that since corporate media is failing us so spectacularly, all of this stuff is going to get normalized. The fact that Donald Trump offered to buy people’s votes with $5,000.
Wajahat Ali: That’s right. Stipends.
Mary Trump: One isn’t going to happen, but stipends or gifts. I mean, listen, Natalie got $45,000. Why can’t the rest of us get five? It’s illegal. It’s unconstitutional, but none of it’s operative anymore because who’s going to say:
Hey, that’s a violation of this, that, or the other thing.
Todd Blanche’s Justice Department? I think. But there are enough people who are going to believe it, and they know that.
Wajahat Ali: And those people are suckers. Their people are part of the cult. And as long as he keeps giving them white supremacy, they’re like, “All right, rape, literally, pillage, steal, lie to us.”
I don’t know if you saw this. This is going to be out of the news by today. This was yesterday. This is a Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner. This is what he said:
I heard UT graduation this year looked like this. I didn’t believe it. The problem is now obviously far worse than anyone imagined.
And then he doubled down on it.
Mary Trump: What is it? I’m sorry. It’s very small.
Wajahat Ali: The problem is, look at these normal, brown, South Asian UT Austin students celebrating.
Mary Trump: Oh my God. Oh my God, because brown people are allowed to go to...
Wajahat Ali: Celebrating their team’s amazing win. And then he doubled down on it.
Mary Trump: Not so amazing if you like Ohio State.
Wajahat Ali: Yeah. And then he doubled down on it. And then John Cornyn, of all people, had to say:
Whoa, whoa, whoa. This isn’t it. This is not how the party should be.
Even though for 10 years he said nothing about Donald Trump. But then Abbott, folks, Abbott. It was rare yesterday. Cornyn and other Texas Republicans with the rare rebuke of Bo French saying:
Come on now, they’re just college students. This racism has no place.
Even though, I don’t know, the past 10 years of Donald. But Governor Abbott has got to Abbott. Abbott does not denounce French’s tweet or call on him to delete it like other Republicans. This is what he said:
That is not my message. A selective picture of Longhorn fans celebrating our biggest home victory ever actually shows the way that Texans unite. We all support our college football teams. The way we win the state is the same way we win football games. We unite under the brand of Texas. That doesn’t mean that Texas cannot also lead in having the toughest immigration laws of any state in America and freezing H 1B visas at our universities.
Mary Trump: Yeah. Well, he’s despicable, and he’s got a race on his hands, which is kind of nice. I mean, I don’t know that Abbott can lose, but the good thing about races like that, and forgive me, I don’t remember what his Democratic opponent’s name is, but Hinojosa?
Wajahat Ali: Yeah.
Mary Trump: Anyway, his Democratic opponent is doing very well. Talarico is doing very well. Can they win? I don’t know, but it’s forcing Republicans to spend money they wouldn’t otherwise have to spend.
And right there, what we see is Abbott trying to have it both ways. It’s like:
Hey, base, I am really, really racist. I just can’t say that too specifically or too explicitly. And people who might vote for me if I seem less racist, see, diversity is great at football games.
Wajahat Ali: But only at football games.
Mary Trump: Only at football games. Yeah. So it’s slimy.
Wajahat Ali: And also the reason why this is important, Cornyn and other Texas Republicans who were perfectly fine and are perfectly fine with Trump’s racism, xenophobia, promotion of white supremacy, Elon Musk, Stephen Miller, the reason why I was paying attention, why now? Why this post?
It’s because they realize Talarico is ahead of Ken Paxton, perhaps one of the very few elected officials even more corrupt than Donald Trump, and we are going to need every vote that we can get. And this egregious racism, which is, by the way, happening every day, every post at the midterm RNC in Dallas, we’ve got to pretend and perform that we’re outraged by this.
But to your point, Mary, Greg’s like:
Yeah, but if I do that, I’ll lose the racists. So let me just kind of double down on racism.
That’s why they condemned him, because they’re like, “Texas just might go blue.”
Mary Trump: Yeah. And last I checked, there are a fair number of Hispanic people in Texas who...
Wajahat Ali: And a lot of Desis, a lot of South Asians.
Mary Trump: That’s right. That’s right. So they may not take kindly to such messaging. And I also think that it’s interesting, and I mean, I’ll take it because it’s becoming a losing message. Their immigration messaging is not working anymore. Donald’s underwater.
Just quickly, nobody’s more corrupt than Donald, sorry, because it’s just a difference of degree as well. But Paxton, in his own way, does give Donald a run for his money. So the messaging isn’t working, but they just don’t know. They don’t have anything else. They have nothing positive to run on, which is why these horrible, horrible people keep going after trans kids.
It’s like, well, okay, we don’t want to talk about Donald’s corruption. We don’t want to talk about the horrific economy and how farmers are going bankrupt. Seventy seven farmers are declaring bankruptcy every day. We don’t want to talk about the illegal war of choice that is making prices skyrocket. So let’s attack the tiniest percentage of the population, which also happens to be the most vulnerable. It’s despicable, but it’s all they’ve got, brown people and trans kids.
Wajahat Ali: And also Muslims. And I haven’t heard you yet condemn Hasan Piker. Why haven’t you condemned Hasan Piker, Mary Trump? I need you to.
Mary Trump: Because I don’t care about Hasan Piker. I couldn’t care less about Hasan Piker. And I mean, personally, he’s an influencer, is that what they call him? To the extent he has influence, yeah, that’s problematic. How do we give him more influence? Keep talking about how he’s the problem and tying Democratic candidates to him.
Wajahat Ali: You can’t make this up, folks. Last week at the RNC, they had two photos of a near naked Hasan Piker on the jumbotron at the RNC, Make America Gay Again. Grindr also, of course, again, overloaded in Dallas. I’m not making that up.
And then we’ve just sat here, top of our head, just talked about Nazis, Brandon Herrera. I’ll throw in Randy Fine. I’ll throw in Laura Loomer, the ongoing crypto grift, terrible economy, the fact that we have an illegal war. And yesterday, who was brought up twice? Hasan Piker. When Abdul El Sayed was speaking to CBS News, again, she asked him about Hasan Piker. Yesterday, Hakeem Jeffries was also asked about Hasan Piker.
I just want you to notice, when it comes to accountability, when it comes to D.C. being a big club, I’m going to show two tweets. This was Hakeem Jeffries responding to this Twitch streamer who, last time I checked, is not an advisor to the president like Laura Loomer, who’s not an elected official like Max Miller, accused of beating his wife and child, who’s not an elected official like Randy Fine, who says horrific anti Muslim things, who’s not like Emmer, who told Muslims to get out of America, another elected official.
He’s just a streamer, right? But this is what Hakeem Jeffries said:
I’ve been very clear in terms of my denunciation of Hasan Piker and the aggressive, in some cases, antisemitic rhetoric that he’s issued.
All right. He was sweating profusely for some strange reason on ABC. Of course, George Stephanopoulos had to ask about Hasan Piker because it’s obligatory now.
But then there was another question. Another question was about a meeting, a private meeting that Hakeem Jeffries had with Jared Kushner over, wait for it, accountability. And this is what Hakeem Jeffries said:
I’m of the view that if we’re going to be committed to actually solving problems on behalf of the American people, there are going to be times that you have to speak with people on the other side of the aisle, even people you strongly disagree with.
Interesting.
Mary Trump: Oh my God.
Wajahat Ali: Mary, make it make sense to me why it is...
Mary Trump: First of all...
Wajahat Ali: Go ahead. Take it away.
Mary Trump: Kushner is not on the other side of the aisle. He doesn’t belong to the United States government in any way, shape, or form. He’s not a member of Congress. He’s not a member of the Trump regime. He is just a grifting son in law who is selling our country out in order to enrich himself.
He is betraying our allies in order to do favors for our enemies so he can keep making more and more money. The guy is corrupt. He has committed God knows how many crimes. He is the kind of person to whom you say nothing unless it’s, “Lose my number.”
We want to talk about accountability with a guy who desperately needs to be held accountable. Charles Kushner should be in The Hague, for God’s sake. And what Jeffries does is normalize this creep, normalize this guy who is dangerous. He is a sociopath, probably, and he is so bad for this country. So yeah, Hakeem Jeffries, normalize him, empower him, legitimize him in the eyes of the American people. You absolute hack. Resign, please.
Wajahat Ali: But I was told he met him to talk about affordability. Why are you against that meeting, Mary?
Mary Trump: I mean, listen, you know how we can solve the affordability problem? Seize all of Jared Kushner’s ill gotten gains. That’s how we do it. Same thing with Donald. Take all that money that that horrible family has grifted and stolen and gotten by leveraging the power of the presidency.
Take all of that money, remove their name from everything, destroy all of the buildings that they’re building for Donald’s glory, and then take whatever’s left over and distribute it. Shore up Social Security, shore up Medicaid, whatever. Or use that as the fund that is going to pay for all of the trials for all of these criminals. Seriously, it is just unbelievable. It is just politically one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen anybody do.
Wajahat Ali: Folks, going back full circle, it’s a big club and you aren’t in it. If you think Hakeem Jeffries met Jared Kushner to talk about affordability, I will sell you a Trump diploma for $500 million.
The fact that Hakeem Jeffries, in the same breath, I don’t care if you like Hasan Piker or not. He has eight million people watching him, a lot of young people who vote progressive and Democrat. You’re telling me you’re more comfortable meeting Jared Kushner, who failed his initial security clearance, is completely bought out by Saudi Arabia, has private dealings with Israel and Israeli settlements, than you are with Zohran Mamdani, than you are with the Squad, than you are even with Hasan Piker.
To me, it’s revealing the plot. Jared Kushner, A okay. Progressives, not okay. Mamdani, we won’t come to his defense even though he’s endured the worst Islamophobia in the past week. It’s disgusting.
We won’t publicly come to defend Abdul El Sayed on the morning shows. Where was the Democratic condemnation of the obscene racism and Islamophobia against Mamdani and El Sayed? They could have done it. They could have used their platform. They didn’t do that. Instead, they condemned Hasan Piker. And then Hakeem Jeffries sits there and defends his meeting with Jared Kushner.
When people say, “Why, Waj, do you have so much smoke for Schumer and Jeffries? Why for the past two years are you saying they’re not built for this fight? They’re not made for this moment?” When I say, “Guys, we’re not going to get ahead with these people in leadership,” Mary, they keep showing themselves, but apparently I’m the bad guy.
Mary Trump: Well, listen, I know it’s depressing because we need real leaders and we don’t have them right now. And I think it’s also because Jeffries, I mean, he’s obviously going to get reelected. Schumer is not up for reelection this time. So what we need to do is put pressure to bear on new people coming into Congress not to vote for Jeffries. I mean, at least make it a race. He should not be Speaker of the House.
And somebody said to me once, “Well, it’s his turn.” No, there’s no such thing. There’s no such thing as that. He has shown himself to be incapable of meeting the moment or understanding the moment, and Schumer as well.
And Schumer needs to be challenged. He needs to be primaried, and hopefully he needs to be removed from office because he was one of those people who, after El Sayed won, literally said:
Well, we don’t need Michigan in order to take back a majority in the Senate.
Wajahat Ali: Schumer.
Mary Trump: Are you kidding me? Why don’t you just say explicitly:
Oh no, we don’t want that guy.
And in talking to some people in Michigan, the Senate race is now an issue. And it’s not because El Sayed is any more problematic a candidate than anybody else. It’s because Democratic establishment politicians are making it an issue because they are not full throatedly supporting him.
And also just to be so cavalier about the future of this country. What difference does it make if we have one less senator? It makes all the difference in the world.
Wajahat Ali: That’s right.
Mary Trump: Because the more we have, the closer we get to 60, the more real work we can do. And it’s just, again, the shortsightedness, the selfishness, the stupidity, the Islamophobia, the inability to understand that the Democratic base is changing.
And the only way we’re going to grow and start engaging young people again is to realize that the way we’ve been doing things isn’t working. And instead of just blindly lashing out at people who are progressives and democratic socialists, maybe look in the mirror and figure out what you need to wrap your head around in order to understand that the status quo is what got us here. It’s infuriating.
Wajahat Ali: Mary said it. The fact that they’re more comfortable meeting Jared Kushner, taking money from AIPAC, AI, crypto, going on Bill Maher’s show, as one of our smart commentators reminded me, Gavin Newsom invited Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon on his podcast. The fact that they’re willing to go on Joe Rogan, the fact that they’re willing to meet these centrists and support them, even as the centrists, Jared Golden and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, stabbed Hakeem Jeffries in the back, remember that just two weeks ago, than they are their base, than they are progressives, than they are Mamdani, reveals the entire plot.
I’m not for vote blue no matter who, Mary. I’m for vote for the right blue. And I think you put the fear of God in them and you pressure them. And if people don’t think it works, I give you the past four months where AI has become a 70 to 30, now almost 80 to 20 issue, specifically AI data centers.
And all these Democrats who take money from AI now are doing a complete 180 because they’re like, “We might not get elected.” I’m telling you, folks, if you don’t put the pressure, you’re going to get the same.
And before we leave, I’ll give a warning. Costco is rationing its motor oil. Four percent of the world’s global oil supply has been affected due to this strike on the 800 mile Saudi pipeline. The Strait of Hormuz is closed. Bab al Mandab in the Red Sea has been captured by Houthis. There are trade wars. What does this all mean? Gas prices are going to go up.
Last time this happened, folks, it was 1973, 1979, the energy crisis. A recession happened after that in 1973 and 1979. Things are going to get worse, worse, worse. If Democrats win in 2028 and they go with the same old, same old, I’m telling you, look at history.
Nazis came to power in the early 1930s, right, Mary? All you need is a Republican who’s smart enough to lie. America First with economic populism. Once again in power, they’ll ditch the economic populism. But if I’m a Republican, I’ll be like:
You guys want Medicare for All? Sure. You want universal childcare? No problem. Look at these Democrats. You elected them to the House, the Senate, and the presidency in the past four years, and they’re all bought out by AIPAC, AI, and crypto. Vote for me.
If you think that’s not going to happen, who’s the president of the United States right now? Donald. Final word to you, Mary.
Mary Trump: Yeah, we have a lot of work to do, but again, it is up to us to demand that our leaders bend to our will. We refuse to allow them to pretend that the status quo is okay or that it is anything but dangerous to our project of establishing a truly representative multicultural democracy, which is what has to happen in order for us to survive this and then thrive going forward.
By failing to recognize what needs to happen, by failing to recognize just how bad things are and how our politics as usual philosophy has contributed to that, Democrats could very well snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. And the idea that we even have to worry about this is mind blowing, considering every awful thing that’s happening right now in terms of the economy, in terms of the war, in terms of our fracturing alliances, in terms of the farmers going bankrupt at an alarming rate, on and on and on, is directly due to the policies of Donald and his regime.
So please, Democrats, have some guts and remember what politicians are. Politicians are supposed to be, by definition, experts in governance and civil servants.
Wajahat Ali: Servants of the people.
Mary Trump: Of the people, which is us. And if they don’t understand that, well then they need to be reminded who their bosses are.
Wajahat Ali: Amen. They represent us, they serve the people, but if they’re serving PACs, it’s time to go. Mary, please promote yourself. I promised I’d get you out by 1:45. I’m 30 seconds late.
Mary Trump: That’s okay. That’s actually really good for you. I’m impressed. First of all, check out our YouTube channel. It’s the Mary Trump Media YouTube channel. We’re over 560,000 subscribers. We really, really, really want to get to a million as quickly as humanly possible.
Also, my Substack is called The Good in Us, and we’re on all of the socials, as the kids say. So just check us out everywhere. And as always, Waj, terrible capitalist that he is, subscribe to his channel because it’s awesome. His content is awesome, and he’s one of the hardest working people I know and worth listening to.
Wajahat Ali: And thank you so much, Mary. And you’ll be proud. I’m trying to work less. I told Danielle I’ll try to work less. Let’s see if I can actually hold myself to it. Thank you, Mary.

the “most corrupt, criminal‑minded president” award lands squarely on Trump a despicable, greed‑soaked figure who has turned public office into a circus of ego and chaos. a filthy, power‑hungry grifter, a walking pile of scandals wrapped in cheap bravado. he’s the gold‑plated king of corruption, a loud, shameless disaster staggering across American politics.
Just what George Carlin said.
