I know about the difference between politicians and public servants. My grandfather was asked to be alderman in Chicago. An alderman is like a city council member. He said no, because “Politics is too dirty.” This was in the 1920’s. However, I think there are some public servants in the House and the Senate. I’m liberal, but my children are more liberal. I love Mamdani. I feel like you have kind of given up on me. After the midterms, we need to be united if we can, to rid ourselves of the orange fascist and his ilk, and the billionaires. This is too long.

I think you need to do more in depth reading of the intentions of the DSA which its leader Megan Romer listed in her interview on Fox News.

Many years ago when I was in school, I was taught we elect people to represent those that elect them and to act on behalf of those they represent - from dog catcher on up. That is what our Constitution sets forth and most elected positions have swearing in ceremonies where those elected take some oath of office that says they will uphold certain rules and standards. Have a hard time accepting the complete abrogation of all of that by Felon47 and the current GOP regime. They are so VERY UN-AMERICAN and they violate all the rules and standards AND VIOLATE THEIR OATH - almost daily. The discussion you presented just reminds me how wrong this insane circus is.

Thank you for the transcript with your fellow nerd avenger Danielle Moodie who leaves no stone unturned in her podcast. She wakes America to the truth and nothing, but the truth in fact.
