Good Piece. This is a great moment to learn about our Constitution and institutions, so that we can sustain them going forward.

I recall the courageous testimony of Lt. Colonel Vindman (during the former President's impeachment hearing) and the longtime Ambassador to Ukraine, a woman whose name escapes me. They both showed nuanced brilliance and integrity, about their work.

Not having the longstanding Ukranian Ambassador, as well as Mr. Vindman with their relationships and knowledge of the area, is a big loss, Now.

Just finished reading Congressman Adam Schiff’s memoir, “Midnight in Washington,” which covers in-depth tfg’s first Impeachment hearing and the courageous and selfless witnesses (of the Ukraine/Burisma quid pro quo) who came forward, including Lt Col Vindman, Dr Fiona Hill, and Marie Yovanovitch.

Mary, thank you. I’m glad for your explanation. There’s a lot of work ahead, but if we want our democracy to heal we need knowledge and dedication. I’m feeling upside down not really understanding yet knowing the right and wrong of it.

I had never heard of this prominent advocate. Thank you for telling us this story. One can hope that the Democrats are much more capable and justified in defending the voting rights as the Republicans are in disabling them.

Excellent choices, all of them.

The problem with Youngkin and Virginia is that the people that voted for him knew exactly what they were voting for. We didn't get enough sane voters out to counter them.

Somehow I missed all the stories on Marc Elias & all the work he's done to protect voting rights, contest the gerrymandering maps, etc.

I LOVED the lady in the grocery store calling out the selfish, thoughtless, not giving a shit about his constituents Gov. Youngkin in VA!
