Transgender and intersex people are less than 1% of the population, so naturally Trump and his weaponized bullies attack them for our problems. You would think Donald sold his soul to Satan for political success, and now Satan has come around to collect his bill with all the harm Trump is inflicting on the American public. He is willing to break the law and Constitution to run for president again in 2028, despite his manifest mental and physical incompetence. I must admit to not having any solutions other than to perform my civic responsibility and make an informed vote. It’s hard to keep in mind that Trump is a sign, not a cause, of our civic decay.
We must take the House in Novembre—and, hopefully, the Senate as well. The Democrats need to show up.
And, if and when we carry the baton again in Congress, the Democrats, still, need to finally show up and put their walk into the talk. Some string Democrats have been emerging. I certainly hope that they get the limelight—not for theatrics, but for true leadership and firm action.
