I totally agree with blue states withholding all federal tax payments to the government, if that is at all possible. These taxes can be used to provided urgent food supplies to the people needing it the most.
Employers cannot withhold tax payments to the IRS. That’s were the bulk of taxes are paid. Taxes are deducted from employee’s paychecks. Employers have a fiduciary responsibility to deposit our taxes. Taxpayers can choose not to pay their taxes personally but there are consequences. Penalties, late fees etc.
But since trump has decimated the IRS (after Biden spent his whole term building it up so it was finally a well-staffed & well-functioning organization), so it might be years before they are aware of who has & hasn't paid their taxes.

I just started volunteering at the local food bank & am donating every piece of clothing & all household items I don’t absolutely need to Goodwill. Time to step up in all the small ways we can to help our neighbors.
I study the economy & consumer behavior/sentiment for a living: ignore the stock market, all non-1%ers are staring down a very dark personal economic outlook for the next >3 years. The negative effects of tariffs (import taxes paid for by US companies & consumers) have barely started.
Healthcare costs will double to triple in the next year for all due to the impacts of the soon to be uninsured on emergency rooms & the tariffs on hospital supplies. Republican policies hurt not only Medicare & Medicaid recipients, but all. Planned Parenthood clinics have been defunded - in many areas the only provider of female cancer screenings. Preventative medicine saves $; cutting it is incredibly expensive & costs lives.
Women are being fired, laid off first & hired last because it’s no longer illegal to discriminate. Who’s gonna enforce civil rights laws? No one.
Save your pennies. 3 years of global economic vandalism is going to hurt more than you can imagine. No one is going to stop his tariff war or grift of the Federal Treasury. The Supreme Court & Congress & Justice Department are fully owned subsidiaries of Trump, Inc. No one will save us until we vote them out.

Did you know that that he is the only president to turn our military on peaceful American communities and citizens?
Did you know that tRump is controlling what can and can't be said on our national news? Do you prefer to live in a country where your Dictator chooses which movies, TV shows and music you allowed to watch or listen to?
The Republicans must have screws loose if they believe that intelligent Americans believe their nonsensical fabrications - no wonder they want to defund education. Did you know that those imbeciles wants to privatize public education? Can you afford to pay tuition for your K-12 kids and your college kids? Have you thought about what will happen to this country if the majority of our children get no education?
Are you threatened by people that have opinions different than your own? The tRump must be, if he is starting to target white American protesters, reporters, anyone that disagrees with him, even our comedians!
Are you even aware that Führer tRump has started the beginning stages of genocide in the USA and Americans are already dieing! Do you remember the story of the Holocaust? One evil dictator, controlling our newspapers, detaining people for the crime of having a religion different than his own, deporting them to death camps leaving the world with six million dead Jews. Does that sound familiar to you? One evil Limp Dick Traitor, controlling the news media, detaining people for the crime of not being white enough or speaking against him, deporting people off to never be seen again. Oh, how I hope we never get to six million.
Did you hear the tRump say that he wants to get rid of everything the Democrats want? Did you know that the Democrats want what you want? Did you know the Democrats not the Republicans are the ones who want to save our Medical Care Services? Insurance prices are going to double in January. Can you afford that and if not how will you pay for medicine, doctor, hospital, nursing care without insurance or Medicaid? Can you afford to stay home yourself and care/or pay for home care services for your elderly loved ones? Check your local nursing homes and home care services. Believe me it is incredibly expensive.
Did you know that the Convicted Felon in the Oval Office is taking aim at the disabled, sick children and the elderly with his cruel budget cuts. Are you glad that he believes that less than perfect people are better off dead because they cost too much to care for? Do you know what he plans to do with the money saved form cutting our medical care? According to his Big Brutal Bill our tax money will now go towards funding war, ICE and more tax breaks for the billionaire. Is that what you voted for?
Did you know that the Limp Dick Traitor, accused rapist is actively trying to strip more women of their basic civil liberties, making it harder for them to vote or to decide what medical care they receive?
Will you be grateful when happy productive Democrats, Republicans, men, women and children start suffering because they can no longer afford their life supporting medications?
Have you ever wondered why so many millions of people hate the tRump and are protesting around the world? Have you considered that their news, is different from yours? Have you ever considered that maybe they know something you don't? Don't you owe it to yourself to find out?

I think the blue states should stop giving fed taxes to the regime & start funneling federal taxes back into other blue states and subsidizing each other. fuck the red states. let them see what they truly voted for. I have no problem with my taxes paying for snap benefits or Medicare/Medicaid.
