Maybe it will take whatever salacious revelations are in the Epstein files to open so many closed eyes. But, alas, will the files ever be released in their totality (with the names of the survivors duly protected)? While a majority of people probably know about climate change and the threats to our democracy, they just don't have the bandwidth to care about anything beyond feeding their family; that would be a luxury.
This is a direct result of Congress' failure to raise the federal minimum wage for 10 years plus. That is on both sides. Of people had access to security as regards housing, food and health care, they would fight for those other things.
