Interestingly, Michigan is the only one entirely within the US. But I guess a Chippewa name meaning “Great Lake” doesn’t bother him as much as that of a Canadian province.

As a proud Nasty Canadian who served as an Officer in the CAF Reserves, and my family members who served and died in WW2, I remind people that DJT is the character we fought against and defeated. To constantly face the constant threat of annexation bu a former ally is unconscionable. To be betrayed by a long term friend creates a emboldened and fierce adversary.
To add more insult to an existing injury is that my partner who is a Staff Sargent in the US Army who was deployed on December 5 for 3 months to Kuwait. She's still there, her base has been hit and morale is low.
When she returns she is moving to Canada with her 2 little dogs currently in the care of a friend. I pray she and the other troops deployed with her return soon and safely.
The renaming an international lake should be the last thing on the mind of a "president". The well being of citizens are of primary concern.
The alienation of the US from long term allies will last for many years to come. Screw the name of a lake, work for the people who elected you. That's for DJT and all members of Congress. Grow a spine and a pair and remove him from office before he destroys the planet.
