We can now say that Trump will NEVER stop. Trump was recruited by the Russians forty years ago. Trump will end the United States. The Democrats really think that Trump can be stopped, and they are wrong. Thousands of Americans will die once the Russian and North Koreans take over the Ukraine, and start moving North from there. It is most likely that there are enough fascist Americans to keep Trump in power. This is the game that no one in the American Left could do anything about it. By the close of Trump Parade Trump will have gthe force to assert martial law by July 4th. If Americans cannot impeach Trump before June 14, we will be finished, and Republicans will be able to secure Trump his third term. This was an international planned take over. Trump now has major hotels going up in the Arab nations right now, and his family will rule all of them. It is terrible that the rich in America led this disaster, so that the world will never be normal again.

This is a dangerous precedent being set by several recent clashes that could easily escalate into a broader suppression of protests nationwide, and the suspension of constitutional rights of all american citizens in day-to-day life.

On the May 8th "MayDay" national protests, another arrest was made of 78-80 students at the Columbia University Butler Library protest. It's unclear exactly what happened. But, it was a peaceful sit-in within one of the larger study rooms.
The students hung signage to signal their protest and chanted from the study desks and tables at which they sat. It's unclear how many were actual students, alumni, or staff of Columbia University.
Columbia’s interm president, Claire Shipman, requested NYPD arrest the May 8th protestors. What ensued was a brutle beating that hospitalized some of the students.
It's not clear whether the university's own security or city constables administered the violence. Time investigated, with links to video from various security cameras in the area:
The NYPD later released all those arrested under light bail conditions. They seemed to want to de-escalate quickly rather than pursue long-term legal consequences. It suggests that local law enforcement isn’t fully on board with the way Trump’s administration is handling protest responses.
But, state and city police officers need the backing of their mayors and governors if they are not to follow illegal orders. Otherwise, we are all doomed.
I need to point out, an executive order such as this is illegal. Laws can only be made by Congress, and not the president. And, Congress has no jurisdiction over state government police forces. they only have jurisdiction over the FBI and military. it's up to each state's governer and assembly to decide how their police force works.
To change this would require modification of the federal constitution, which in turn means ratification by two thirds of the states
