Our town in south texas today has been teeming with law enforcement vehicles, and not because we are having high crime. It’s because we are a 90% Hispanic community, close to Mexico, with hundreds of people who have varied levels of documentation but have lived and worked here for decades.

The fear and tension is palpable. We have been a peaceful easygoing community for as long as I have lived here, 20 years. THIS is the invasion. Not the undocumented among us.

This is one time the governor should have said “Don’t mess with Texas” (to Trump’s demand for 5 more seats in Congress). Instead he said “oh right away Daddy.”

Have you formed an "underground railroad" to get the most vulnerable and fearful among you to safer states and locations (especially those who cannot afford to leave), and support them as they need? Have you thought of working with local police to get them to challenge the identities and authority of ICE and other federal law enforcement when they assemble to take actions against your citizens? (see tactic #11 in https://redslider.substack.com/p/resisting-tyranny-tactical-innovations-2e5 ). Be creative, be tactical, stay unified. They use crowd control to keep citizens away from their actions. You use crowds to keep them away from your citizens. Resist, in any way you can. Don't wait for the courts or legislators or elections. Do what you need to do now, to protect your neighbors and yourselves.

Inside the 7 hour Trump/Putin summit in Alaska was another 90-minute private meeting between the two leaders, attended only by their interpreters (3:49pm - 5:13pm EDT). This would be like calling a cabinet meeting, where two members excuse themselves to talk in the closet.

This inner meeting, excluded not just Ukraine but also critical U.S. officials who should have been present.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who should have remained in Washington to manage the escalating ICE deployments and respond to Schumer’s legal threats over the Epstein files, was instead waiting outside the door in Alaska.

Vice President J.D. Vance, who would normally assume command responsibilities in Rubio’s absence, was also missing from D.C., reportedly traveling.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was present at the summit but not included in the core negotiation, despite that the military implications of the 90 minute meeting fall under his department.

The absence of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy from a summit supposedly aimed at ending the Ukraine war rendered the peace talks as not being peace talks between two waring parties. Its like trying to clap with one hand.

The meeting’s structure and secrecy suggest it was less about diplomacy and more about contingency planning, with Trump potentially negotiating personal terms with Putin.

If this was about Putin giving Trump sanctuary after the release of the Epstein files, Putin wouldn't offer it for free.

Putin cannot stand Trump. He does not have the patience to sit through Trump's endless rambling without ever getting to a point. He has less tolerance to listen to his Alzheimer delusions. And, quite frankly, Putin cannot stand the smell of Trump's diaper.

So, Trump will likely have to pay Putin to get protection. Putin already knows Trump has no money because of all the times Trump came asking for more. So, the only thing Trump can pay with is intelligence. Not his - but ours.

Intelligence such as all of the NATO and NORAD vulnerabilities. Schedules of troop deployment and rotations. Locations and identities of CIA operatives. Global cybersecurity infrastructure. Stuff Putin can use to expand his conquest of the world.

Did Putin say "yes" and give Trump an intelligence dossier shopping list? Was this part of planning out logistics for Trump's escape plan?

If Trump was willing to compromise America this way, he probably would hold something back to keep him alive and valuable to Putin - like passwords.

But, Putin knows those could easily be changed or revoked.

Trump is the kind of clown that never changes his own passwords for personal stuff, because he won't remember any of them. Therefore, he thinks all the other ones won't change either.

Putin will take Trump in as long as he is useful. After that, he will dispose of him - either at a goulag or worse. He's done it before with his other "friends".

Was Rubio there to take Putin's shopping list and assemble everything? It would take weeks, likely a month.

Outside of Trump and Vance, Rubio is the only other person who has access to all the intelligence reporting, wherever it is stored. He can request it without arousing any suspicion.

The only way to stop this IF IT HAPPENS, is to substitute the real files with fake ones, so that Trump hands over irrelevant or misleading information unknowingly that damages Putin's ability to wage war.

yes, he has always been gritting in the whitehouse, and when campaigning, and even outside of that with his university and steaks, etc.

But money always goes through his fingers like water does. And, he went to Putin several times for half a billion dollars. That's what Putin knows from his experience.

What he actually has for himself, we do not know anymore than what Putin knows. cryptocurrency is nothing more than a giant pyramid scheme. bit coin is worth nothing because it has no tangible thing to back it up: no precious metals or country's GDP. It is only worth what people THINK it's worth out of greed. It's a speculative venture just like junk bonds were.

I agree that Putin has compromised Trump somehow: either by fear or through blackmail. But, Putin apperentlybalso was a client of Epstein.

Now, Putin could care less if that came out in Russia, so it's not anything that somebody could manipulate Putin with.

But, if this is true, Putin likely knows about the Trump/Epstein relationship - he just doesn't have the files. Would Putin send people to get them? they are fragmented and not all in one place. it's easier for Putin to document his own real evidence that ties Trump to Epstein, which in my opinion is the most likely thing that has happened. Putin has done to trump what trump and Epstein have done to others.

But, that's what I mean DW. Yes, and Putin didn't just put him there, he financed the turnip at least three times at half a billion each to get it into the WH. But, the turnip kept spending the money on himself instead. So, he told the turnip to take a hike on the fourth time it came crying for more money. So, at least that is what I think happened.

I don't see Putin saying, "okay, come on in!" if the turnip offers him cash to buy his way into Russia. If he did, it would have to be handed over in actual currency (not crypto). I doubt Putin will take a turnip check.

How many briefcases does it take to carry two billion dollars? Because, Putin will want at least the money he gave before back on top of whatever the turnip offers him.

And again, Putin is the only person the turnip knows in Russia. he has no "regular friends" there. That means every chance he'll get he will cling to Putin. Putin will probably get to the point of being very afraid to come out of his room because the turnip will be waiting in a few short steps outside.

And, who wants to stand next to a geezer that doesn't change his full diaper, on top of having to listen to him babble about nothing for DAYS.

Yeah, like I mentioned the results are couriered on memory cards. A USB stick is also a memory card.

So, at the polling station, the votes from the voting machines goto the polling station's tabulator. That's the weak link in the chain, because the tabulators are customized by each state to match it's record keeping and election laws.

The polling station's tabulator saves the totals to a memory card. The card is put into a tamper resistant sealed bag. So, if anyone tried to open the bag, they easily damage it and can't deal it again.

The card is placed into the bag and sealed by the supervisor of the polling station, under the watchful eyes of candidate representatives and additional staff. I wouldn't be surprised if they video the procedure.

Just prior to that, they do a manual count of all the paper receipts ONCE and match it to the tabulator. If they don't match, they try to figure out why. They usually will do a recount in case somebody miscounted manually, or all the receipts weren't found.

Once they match, the courier takes the bag and delivers it to the state tabulating machine where all the votes are combined. Usually, they drive it over while doing additional pickups along the way.

It used to be this was done across a network, but the GOP found a way to hack in and change the counts in Ohio during a previous election

So, the courier system was put in place.

On November 5 2024, the election counts were being reported faster than these couriers could make their deliveries.

And throughout the night, counts were being retracted. To me, it looked like the totals were being substituted from another source and then corrected on the next courier update.

And, yes. Once you gain access to the operating system , you can do anything - especially if it's a JAVA based platform, which android is.

Java is heavily object oriented compared to other languages. Instead of an event pump like windows has, Java uses something called listeners. These are tiny programs waiting to hear from any other program that's running on the system. Where as in an event pump scenerio, events come from within the same program.

So, if you have access to the Java OS, you can install your own listeners to watch for program communication that happens elsewhere in the machine. And, you can intercept that communication to have the machine do something else.

That's a very rough overview. There's a lot more that goes on. Java does have its own security that can control what listeners can get registered, who can run them, end even encryption of internal messaging. It's actually more comprehensive than windows, and is similar to UNIX

But, it's notoriously difficult to implement because you have to address every detail. If you did it properly, your security program would be a hundred times bigger than your application. And, programmers states hire to customize tabulators don't have that level of knowledge.

You need a security specialist that specializes in java to write it. And, they cost a lot of money.

The article you pointed to says "the profits stretch across the entire Trump family network."

I'm not saying Trump has not abused his position with conflicts of interests.

I am saying Putin won't take Trump in as an immigrant for his money. What is Putin going to do, send a bill to Jarrad? Putin knows from his own experience: with Trumps past spending habits, if he did have any money, he would have spent it somehow as soon as he got it. So, if Putin does take him in, trump would have to offer something more tangible than bankruptcy stories and fantasy promises.

I dunno about him moving to an Arabic country. The culture is very harsh and freedom limiting if you are not a Muslim.

The climate is very hot, and I do not think at his age, his body can take the heat outdoors.

And, then there is Trumps wife Melania. She is from the Ukraine. She'll prefer to go to Russia than the middle East. And, even if he drops her for loomer, women are treated like second class citizens - or even furniture there. I doubt she would want to go there either.

So, it's a question of where can that plane reach in a non-stop flight that will allow Trump to step on its soil?

Alaskan here checking in. Alaska Daylight Time is 4 hours earlier than east coast time. We had a wonderful turnout for yesterday's protest. Lots of foreign media there as well. Today was a little bit less but still decent. Yesterday I talked to a reporter from Japan, and today one from China. A friend told me when she drove by where we were protesting yesterday, today there were only a handful of counter protestors, outnumbered by the homeless people. So that made me happy as well. I do not think any of the motorcades actually drove by the areas where we were protesting, but I am sure they heard about it. I will be much happier when I hear they have left. The stench of the war criminal, and the convicted felon rapist, does not belong in our clean Alaskan air!

"The Alaska summit between President Trump and President Putin concluded with a joint press conference and handshakes. While the press conference offered few details about their meeting, I’m cautiously optimistic about the signals that some level of progress was made. It was also encouraging to hear both presidents reference future meetings, which I hope will include Ukraine. Ukraine must be part of any negotiated settlement and must freely agree to its terms as we seek an end to the violent, unlawful war being waged against it.

- Hasan Minhaj’s Speech From the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, 2020

"My name is Hasan Minhaj, or, as I will be known in a few weeks, Number 830287...

You know that Donald Trump doesn’t drink, right? Does not touch alcohol, which is oddly respectable. But think about that. That means every statement, every interview, every tweet — completely sober.

How is that possible? We’ve all had that excuse, haven’t we? Been like, “I said what? No, listen, babe, I swear to you I was hammered. That’s not who I really am.” What does Donald Trump tell Melania? “Listen, babe, last year on that bus with Billy Bush? That’s exactly who I am.”

He tweets at 3 a.m. sober. Who is tweeting at 3 a.m. sober? Donald Trump. Because it’s 10 a.m. in Russia; those are business hours.

You know, now that a professional wrestler is our president, anything is possible. You know that statement ‘anything is possible,’ used to have a positive connotation? Anything is possible! Now, we’re all like, “Anything is possible.” Anything. The news coming out of the White House is so stressful, I’ve been watching House of Cards just to relax. I’m just like, “Oh, man. A congressman pushed a journalist in front of a moving train? That’s quaint.”
