Obviously, jet airliner condensation trails do contain ‘chemicals’, mostly water vapour, CO2 and small amount of combustion soot plus a very small amount of unburnt kerosene. Also, the reason that some trails are very large and others much smaller is simply down to how humid the air is at that particular point in the sky. Bonnie, I have known about this for years. Just don't get confused with the jet stream in the sky that is natural for jet engines to produce. The chemicals being sprayed are supposedly one of two things. First Passenger planes can't land with a full fuel tank. It's too dangerous, so they dump jet fuel right into our oceans or a nearby river. The other dump that sprays are chemicals to make the people sick for population control. World Health Organization garbage. And that's if it is true. I have heard this for many years.

Exactly! In Anchorage gas has never gone down below $4 per gallon for regular, ever. The prices outside of urban areas of Anchorage, Fairbanks, etc. - those on the road system, which is not a lot of the state - are outrageous!
