Thank you so much for your kind words. Finally, a little sigh of relief. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but this is certainly a good start! 🇺🇸
They may never understand. That matters little, compared to the depth of our understanding of their evil and hate. We can crush them with the consequences, which they have earned.
They will torment us until the judges make them stop and impeach and imprison each and every Trump except our wonderful Mary and Donald’s cabal of corruption.
Mary❤️, don’t ever underestimate your part in these victories! Your voice, courage, consistency, intelligence, and the way you keep showing up matter more than you know. You’re not just reporting what’s happening, you’re helping fuel it! Independent Media and MTM are part of the reason we are here. Never forget that!🙌🏻
I did not dare to dream of a Blue Texas. I did not think Kansas would elect a Democratic Senator in my lifetime. I did not believe the citizens of Georgia would elect a black woman as their governor. I never thought a Muslim could ever be a United States Senator.
Man, I’m so happy to be wrong.
This midterm election marks the beginning of the end for the Convicted Felon President. I know there is still a long, bumpy road ahead of us. Who knows how this personal repudiation is going to affect his addled, criminal mind?
But, I’ll worry about that another time. Right now. I’m just going to enjoy having my country back.
While the Democrats hold majorities now in the House and the Senate, they'd need a two-thirds majority in the Senate to remove a president. They don't have that.
Jeffries has said bringing costs down for regular Americans and addressing Trumpian corruption are his two main goals. He says the corruption is part of what's costing Americans -- siphoning off trillions of dollars of tax money. But they've concluded that impeachment per se may not be the best way to go. Apparently, it's not likely to result in Trump's removal. It requires a two-thirds majority supervote in the Senate to remove a president. Instead they want to expose and address corrupt acts, such as Trump's exempting himself from IRS scrutiny, use of blanket pardons, robbing Venezuela of resources, and more.
You've provided the morning-after summary that will focus our brains on the enormity of what occurred last night. Thank you for helping us to slow down and take time to treasure the moment.
With the Democrats having won control of both the House and the Senate, I think they should carefully weigh whether Jeffries and Schumer are the ones to lead the Accountability Project. We need leaders prepared to go toe to toe (or, more likely, metaphorical fist to face) with Trump and his apparatchiks. I haven't seen that kind of steel in either Jeffries or Schumer. And they're both from New York, which plays into prejudices against East Coast "elites." (I don't have anything against New York, either the State or the city. I was born and raised in upstate New York.)
But there's also a scenario I've toyed with for a few weeks. Trump looks ever more tired, besieged, and mentally crippled. If Democrats have the tsunami (or even something close) and rapidly ramp up the Accountability Project, I think there's a good possibility that there'll be a slew of departures from Trump's orbit (many, I suspect, during the post-election period before January 3), leaving him even more bereft and isolated than now. And I can see a boatload of whistleblowers coming out of the woodwork to the press and Congress, making his life even more miserable (though never miserable for my tastes).
So where will that leave Trump? Despite the obvious grifting opportunities available while in the White House, he might just say, "F*ck it. I'm outta here." In other words, TACO.
Throughout his life, Trump's always been able to bluster and bully his way through any adversity and to construct an alternate reality to shield his ego. But reality's a bitch, and with the right leadership, Democrats can bring that reality to him with unrelenting fierceness. I'm skeptical that Trump will be willing to submit to that crush, and I think there's quite a bit more than a nonzero chance that he'll pack it in.
And if he does, a stiffened-spine Congress should continue its Accountability Project during whatever remainder of Trump's term a much-reviled President JD Vance serves. Congress should force Vance to put an end to all the vanity projects Trump began, not to mention blocking appointments requiring Senate confirmation and forcing him to ___________ (fill in your preferences here).
This will likely be seen a nothing more than a pipe dream, but even Trump has his limits of endurance. A Democratic-led Congress needs to push those limits to the breaking point.
I am jubilant! I am also not sorry for all those who hitched their wagons to Donald’s and are now scrambling to distance themselves. They knew who he was and endorsed him anyway. Let’s not let them forget that.
So very well done, American friends. Here in Scotland I stayed up until 6am and it was worth every minute. 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for sending positive & hopeful energy our way🗽🇺🇸
Thank you so much for your kind words. Finally, a little sigh of relief. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but this is certainly a good start! 🇺🇸
Thank you! Finally a way out
Wow! Didn’t we do good? I’m 20% Scottish, 100% American.

Thank you for cheering us on. It’s been an incredibly stressful 10 years, but the past 2 have been off the charts.
I know we have a lot of work to do...
BUT...I CAN'T stop smiling!!
Thank you for keeping us updated, Mary! You Rule!
Now start the revenge so those evil buggers can understand the consequences of their evil & hate.

Me too!
First thing is to call the ICE dogs off the immigrants!
Absolutely. And get people out of wherever.
Agree totally!💯💯💯💯💯💯
Absolutely! Let’s get them home to their families with reparations.
& American citizens..! 👍
I'm hoping Hakeem Jeffries isn't serious about not pursuing impeachments etc.
I think it was Hillary who argued against impeachment in favor of humiliating him by refusing to push any of his agenda.
He is not my favorite person I don't understand why he wouldn't pursue impeachments!

I think their first priority is getting affordability back for all!! Then, maybe prosecute when he is done so his VP cannot pardon him
I’ve heard people here say we should remove the entire administration at once rather than impeaching. We have several options.
I hope not🤦🏼♀️
We will not stand for that! We want trump impeached for the third time and this time we can REMOVE the traitor and criminal!
I'm a Cedar Rapids Iowa boy, and I couldn't be more proud and excited by the outcome here! And nationally!Let's go!!! 🇺🇸👍🏾💪🏾🙏🏾
Let’s hear it for your new Senator Josh Turek!
Dear Mary
You've provided the morning-after summary that will focus our brains on the enormity of what occurred last night. Thank you for helping us to slow down and take time to treasure the moment.
The good in us, indeed. Sandra
Outstanding, perceptive commentary and analysis. Bravo!

“You knew who I was when you took me in”, said the snake after biting
Great post! I relished every detail. (Note perhaps a typo at the end, 44 instead of 54 seats?). Thanks for all you do and your persistence.
Karma is a bitch. But all the organization at the grass roots level is seismic, as witnessed last night.
Sometimes karma needs some help.
Thank you Mary. At about a minute into your post I could breathe again. 🗽🇺🇸
Love Trumps Hate.
All-ways💞
