I think people are frightened because of what i think of as the death threat machine. People are fingered by your cousin and then - maybe via the dark web or Russia or similar - the machine starts threatening - explicit, violent, including threats to children and other family and “We know where you live.” Targets sometimes feel they have to move, hire private security, etc. Back when Romney was still in politics (and being threatened) I hoped he’d have the money, interest, and skills to start a clearing house so that the perps and masterminds could be identified and brought into the light if not to justice. But Romney spent a huge amount in personal security instead.
Nobody else as far as I know has tried to do anything either. The death threat machine has given your cousin a lot of power.

- The Epstein Files keep popping their ugly heads up over and over.
- The war in Iran is a festering self-inflicted wound that won’t go away
- The explosive diarrhea epidemic is spreading around the country and Trumps decimated FDA and CDC agencies seem to be completely in the dark.
- There is a another major heat wave (not global warming related because that’s a hoax) spreading across the country this time with possibly the most serious flooding EVER recorded.
- Good thing we have FEMA! Oh that’s right! Is anybody still staffing it?
- Republican senators are dropping like flies.
- The country is experiencing runaway inflation.
- He doesn’t know where Japan is anymore.
- Interest rates are likely to rise.
- Job growth is slowing.
- the National debt is expected to explode another 3.4 trillion by 2034 due to his big costly bill.
- Hospital and health clinics in rural republican districts are disappearing.
- Housing costs are rising due to shortages and there is a major shortage of laborers due to his deportation mania.
- ICE agents are still killing US citizens and not wearing body cameras.
- He’s likely to lose control of the house this November.
- Whose side is he on in the Ukraine war anyway?
- The US is losing credibility all around the world destabilizing the greatest peace treaty in the history of the world.
- Did we win the war on drugs yet?
- Did I mention his maniacal ravings on Truth Social?
Today I rewatched the film There Will Be Blood, starring the brilliant actor Sir Daniel Day-Lewis. The story is based on the novel, OIL, by Upton Sinclair. As I watched the film, I was struck by how much the Day-Lewis character is a riveting portrayal of Donald Trump’s character, as described by Mary in this episode of The Good In Us.
