Even in VT peaceful religious leader protestors sat in front of the Williston ICE facility (it literally finds people to detain remotely) and were removed and jailed and charged with FELONIES!! I can't understand why more Americans are not outraged by this extremist view from Hegseth. It's a sickness in the highest levels of our government. It needs to be eradicated like a virus. No time to waste. Get mad and write to your representatives!

The pursuit of a new crusade will plunge us all into war encourage the worst of us abd destabilise the best. Sadly i believe the mid terms will either not take place or the results ignored. All guardrails and restrictions will be off. We can expect this religious fervor to explode among the fanatical zealots and their billionnaire backers who have kept a relatively low profile during Trump's first two years but whom Trump will let loose to drive the saturation of our culture in their image. We can expect the second coming of Savonarola.
