King Midas does come to mind! But it does seem that for some men (and they almost invariably *are* men) it seems to be the thrill of acquisition and/or the security of never having to be beholden to anybody for anything. Does anyone else remember Howard Hughes, the business magnate who became a notorious recluse? Billionaires were rarer in those days, and it's not just because of inflation.
Cryptocurrency has the potential to bring on Great Depression 2.0, and if AI isn’t under public control, highly paid professionals will lose everything.
Mary assumes he will leave office at the end of this, his second term. Yet, many times and in many ways, he has signald that he intends to stay regardless of any election outcome. His supporters will be splitting the votes between possibly two republican candidates, one running "unofficially." Will Donald have built enough public support and enough of a goon squad to ensure he does not step down?
And of course, this assumes he will be alive when the next election comes up. I'm betting Project 2025 (a/k/a "Project 29" now) has planned for that and every other foreseeable outcome to try to ensure they stay in power. Question whether the U.S. military will be involved as in other banana republics.
What we need to remember is to point out that we are not accusing or attacking, but offering a reasoned assessment of the situation. Dale Carnegie, a lamb in wolf's paint, and Herb Cohen, who wrote a book that Donald skimmed and endorsed, (on negotiating) would've said as much.
What Trump seems to ignore is that he can't take it with him. And how long is he going to actually be with us?
Too long.
Not much longer.

Hopefully, states will be able to bring charges against many of DJT's regime. Trump can't pardon state charges.
Mary❤️ you did a great job clearing that up! When I heard him say that in the video, I was like, “Hold on… did I hear that right?” 😂
Thank you for the transcript of your conversation with the amazing, Anderson Cooper.

Of course, no wolf could get near a lamb, so they hire a snake to do the painting.
