What I want to know is: In the following article, is Trump’s wrath real or performative? Is this just shaping the information space, or has Piro actually (not conspiratorily) crossed Trump’s wishes?
Donald is a cross between King Lear and Macbeth, with a sprinkle of Iago. Like Lear, he is falling apart physically and mentally and his enablers, like Reagan (!) and General, tell him what he wants to hear. They are, like Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, willing to do whatever is necessary to gain and keep power, And he is as thoroughly malevolent and corrupt as the villain in “Othello,” who in the end destroys everyone, including himself—except, ironically, Cassio, who got the job Iago wanted.
To us he resembles so many misguided anti-heroes (AND the anti-Christ for that matter) throughout literature. From fairy tales to folk tales to Shakespeare they try to warn us.
I guess Miller is also Lago and Lady MacBeth lol.
But maga sees something great? I guess that’s what Rorschach tests are for. To figure out what’s going on inside the head. If a conning psychopath looks good to someone that is rather telling.
