Thank you for the transcript, of this conversation Mary. I got really angry when someone put out a text on my phone stating you were using an AIPAC. I went out to tend my garden and voted, my friend. I was really upset. What a fake thing to do to a good person who is trying to make a difference. Please becareful. Oh I voted for Progressive Democrat for Governor a, lady and Noah Taylor. I was pissed off at the fake text.
Always great to hear what you and your guests have to say. True, the onslaught of horrors continues day and night. I have your first book about the "Donald" and I agree with your assessment of him.
100 years ago the rich and the Republicans were running the American economy wide open and pocketing all the money. When the debacle struck in 1929, President Herbert Hoover said that it was just temporary and would be over shortly. The Hoovers were rich and had their own cooks and servers in the White House. They were not bottomless pits of need. But they also were unable to have empathy for the American people who were suffering.
Rotten eggs and tomatoes were what Hoover received when he campaigned against FDR for re-election. The stock market hit record highs today. So the parallels are striking.
