At that time it hadn't happened since 1888 when Grover Cleveland lost to Benjamin Harrison. Since then it's happened in 2000 and 2016. Is it just a coincidence that in all three cases a Democrat lost to a Republican?

That ruling limiting the lower courts’ ability to rein Donald in means we will see the executive order version of the “SAVE” Act again.
