Y’all must know that Donald is positively salivating at the thought of the all-MAGA Congress that is within his reach.
And this is why Trump's minions are gerrymandering desperately. They know that making it impossible for Black votes to count is their only way to win the upcoming elections.
If that strategy fails, there's the SAVE Act's promise to disenfranchise women, elderly people, and minorities nationwide.
Not to mention the threat of ICE goons staring at us while we wait our turn to vote, followed by the Orange Felon's standard shout about how the election was stolen from his poor little hands.
Even if the SoH opened tomorrow, it will take years for oil production to return to normal. Iran has done serious damage to the infrastructure. It will take years to repair it. This is our new normal and it sucks.

This entire Iranian "war" has been nothing but market manipulation of oil prices, stock market trends, tied to the timing of DT's announcements of "ceasefires" and "negotiations", all of which Iran has said never happened in the manner his highness said it did. This market manipulation has made DT, his family, friends, cabinet members, golfing partners even more rich than they already were. Because this man is totally incapable of working at an honest job position that actually makes honest money without cheating everyone around him, he resorts to this bullshit. Even Iran agrees with my scenarios. They may be the "evil empire" and hate our guts, but they ain't stupid. His BS excuses of: Regime changes? That's gone well, as even more hardline, radical Guards are now in charge of the country. Free the Iranian people? You mean the folks swinging from scaffolds in the public squares, or rotting in their jails? Allowing the Strait of Hormuz open access to a large part of the world's oil supply? That's gone really well. Jammed up oil tankers who cannot pass through the strait without getting bombed or shot at, cannot get their crude to refineries, so again, as always, who loses? Common folks: Americans, Brits, etc at the gas/petrol tanks. Insider trading is illegal, plain and simple, and those folks who engage in it go to jail, at least they used to. Why not now? And Congress, as always, just slogs along, enriching themselves in the manipulatory scheme, instead of launching a thorough investigation of this fraud.

SOH was open Feb 27 2026, Feb 28 2026, Trump invaded Iran, with bombs and Iran's predictable response was to close SOH by suggesting there are mines in the SOH and immediately all maritime insurance carriers canceled all ships in SOH insurance and 99.7 % of all SOH transit shipping has stopped, frozen in place. All SOH petroleum and its myriad byproducts supply chains are frozen in place and will stay frozen unless and until Trump negotiates a peace settlement for losing his illegal unconstitutional war of choice with Iran. As you say cost of chaos.
Also - Felon47 lies about everything, including how much oil and what type of oil and what it takes to refine it and what results from the refining process. Actually, I don't think he is smart enough nor has he bothered to inform himself adequately regarding what actually happens in the production process from crude oil to salable consumer products. Because they're reducing our supply by selling (exporting) it to other countries - all those tankers trump is lauding about, coming to the U.S. for our oil and gas... and the oil companies are making a killing. (Look up Mr. Global - Matt Randolph.)

If America is producing more oil than any other country AND we don’t need any other countries oil then why is the price of gas going up?
The kind of oil we produce is neither easy nor inexpensive to transform into gas for our cars.
