We will NOT forget about it. Have we forgotten the Epstein files? I think not.

This is total grift of the American People. Trump And Elon set this up by decimating the IRS staffing and they required contractors to help. It is all a 2025 plan. When this is known to the whole of the American People, there will be, understandably by any sociological or psychological professional, Mary, a reason for a "lone wolf" to be outraged at how he/she is being "screwed" and to take a radical action to eliminate what they perceive to the source of the problem. Generally, " lone wolves" do not have much self-awareness training. Society, as a whole, is similar. They, society, blame others rather than asking "what habits do I have that caused this problem?". We, society, must accept responsibility for our actions of not informing ourselves fully on the people we choose to represent us, and allowing obvious lies to go undisputed. We, all of us, must take responsibility for the actions of this person who is grifting us and eliminating him and those around him from doing further harm to us all. Please, have faith in our system, and do so by voting and legal means.

The only coherent quote is from Thom Tillis.

If Cuba is such a threat to the U.S. because it got weapons from Russia and China, why is Trump always sucking up to Xi and Putin.

Trump is committing genocide in Cuba. Because he can.

I've said in the past that the US is the most legally corrupt country in the developed world, if not the world as a whole. The Trump regime and its congressional allies in the Republican Party, and yes, Democratic Party (admittedly small in number) can be considered a legalized white collar mafia (who like historical white collar mafias will use brute force when necessary), headed by a man who is Mussolini, Al Capone, and Nero all rolled into one.

It's like Living in a bad Movie, and we can't stop the 'projector!' And, the doors to the Theater are locked, from the outside! And, the popcorn is BURNED. SOMEBODY, UNPLUG , THE GOD-DAMNED PROJECTOR, NOW!

What a ridiculously patronizing comment that we will just “forget about it!” I will never forget about it, especially when we see those convicted criminal yahoos riding around in their brand new taxpayer funded $100,000 tricked out pickup trucks with shotguns in the back. We can’t get rid of the Orange Turd but can’t Todd Blanche’s law license be revoked?

So Trump says he pays lots in taxes, but the records that were released suggested it was well under $1000 a year in a couple of years when he paid them, and in some years he paid nothing at all. Is it possible that he would lie about such a thing?

And the former SEC Chair said Trump's records were released to "destroy" him (and the many thousands of others whose returns were leaked at the same time?) Question: how could seeing his tax returns destroy him? And given that the returns were leaked, what evidence is there that he has been destroyed? He seems all too active to me.

His middle name should be "Nothing."

I can't even begin to visualize what the sequence of neurons and synapses firing in Donald's brain must have looked like when that comment was spoken. Some kind of Brownian motion for sure

Trump's had ample time to release his tax records since he first broached running for office. A dozen years. So I don't expect him to now.

I don't see any of the Jan.6ers claiming they were a victim of an undue use of force by the police. Those that were jailed via conviction or by pleading guilty remain convicted criminals. The pardon grants them forgiveness but does not undue their guilt. Barring any proof that they were abused by the police as a separate issue from the grounds of which they are guilty, they have no cause for compensation.

But then such formalities don't seem to count for anything in Donaldland.

Thank you once again for putting the effort into making the case clear.

We cannot afford to allow this nation to be governed by such greed and corruption.

. . . and yet with all of the things he's doing for HIMSELF, he has followers that believe every word he says and would follow him off of a cliff. I have family members in that category. Even when presented with the truth and facts that demonstrate he's lying, they still treat him like some sort of savior.

I'd say Todd Blanche is a dick, but he's more like a turd. And we know whose butt he resides in.

Thank you, Mary for this conversation. I hope the GOP and the democrats in the senate stops all this nonsense about the money immediately.

Let me see if I’ve got this right: People who assaulted police officers —to overturn a legitimate election, no less—are victims? I guess that makes sense if you believe White South Africans deserve political asylum more than anyone else.

About Cuba: It’s ironic that Marco Rubio is portraying Cuba, a barely functioning country, as a major military threat. The War of 1898, which led to Cuba becoming a US “protectorate “ (and allowed us to build Guantanamo) started because Spain was falsely blamed for blowing up the USS Maine in Havana harbor. (A faulty boiler was the culprit .) That charge became a pretext for painting Spain as a major military threat when, in fact, it could barely hold on to what little of its former empire it still had (and lost because of that war.
