It's also appropriate that he's holding a mixed martial tournament to celebrate his birthday, given his Nero-like qualities in addition to those resembling Capone and Mussolini, having modern day gladiators go at it in the political heart of the capital of what has long been referred to as the new Rome. If there's an event more visually representative of the extent to which the Republic has succumbed to decadence, corruption, and despotism, I can't think of it.
