What has really gotten to me are comments by some obvious Trump supporters are that protestors are involved in interfering with agents' "official business" in MN, and therefore, are deserving of their injuries or death. Mooning is official business? Spraying non-violent protestors with irritant is "official business"? Killing is "official"? Conducting sweeps of non-violent immigrants, in the hopes of finding 1-2 real criminals is "official business"? We all know that none of these things mentioned are official business, but made-up nonsense by the WH to distract from negative issues, and conduct punitive actions against those states who don't follow T's marching orders, and never did, regardless of what he says. I read some interesting articles coming from law enforcement who know these agencies, and state that these ICE and BC guys have absolutely NO idea about urban law enforcement. They are clueless, ill-trained, and have massive issues themselves. They know only violent actions against a few who might be caught at borders or in targeted raids. They do not know how to operate in an urban community, except to exert ridiculous vicious attacks and mayhem. That's what they "know". What they don't know is how to de-escalate potential violent actions, target true offenders of the law, and the laws themselves that govern their actions, and that they are supposed to follow, like judicial warrants being one, merely handcuffing someone and taking them in for questioning for whatever. They have absolutely no concept of city law enforcement, as they have never done it before. And as they are masked, have no ID, have no official uniform, receive very poor training, carry a ridiculous amount of lethal weapons, we have no idea who these jamokes are, or what they represent, except crisis and potential death. Cops don't hide their faces, have their badges on, carry guns, not AR-15s in their hands, wear body cams, and most of all, are removed from service immediately if they hurt or kill someone; are investigated by their states' investigative bureaus. None of this is happening with this secret police force, which ICE and border control have become. And this so-called bargaining that T has supposedly come to with the Dems about future funding is truly ridiculous. Defund these jerks NOW. They are not trained for city law enforcement, and are truly driving Americans against Americans, in order to catch a few real criminals. It simply must stop, but it looks like the Dems, as usual, are giving in.

IF Democrats succeed in taking back control of both houses of Congress, they will have the unprecedented task, one they will more likely take up if many more progressives are in the caucus than the relative handful now, of undertaking not one, not two, but a whole series of impeachments of leading members, starting with Trump of course, and supporters of far and away the most odious presidential administration in US history. And that will only be part of the work that needs to be done to repair the near fatally damaged democratic fabric of the Republic, damage that has been ongoing since before not only Trump's second term but also his first, damage which he and his associates, both within and without government, have ruthlessly exploited.
We all know how this is going to end up if the Dems don't do something, even ahead of the mid-terms. Dozing Diaper Don is going to lie his ass off, stating he found large discrepancies and that he rightfully won the 2020 election. That will be his "See I told you" moment on the elections and probably anything else. In his mind, this will allow him to somehow control the mid-terms as a warm-up to the 2028 elections.
Trump said we would not have to vote again, and he means to stop voting by any means possible. November is too late to stop him.
I blame the Roberts court for all of this. Roberts gave him carte blanche to do all the criming he wants while in office, and all his underlings, from Vance to the ICE thugs, are following suit.

Trump has law enforcement agencies engaged in egregious conduct which violates the letter and spirit of the law. The FBI regularly pulled these stunts under Hoover, but they kept them under wraps. Now they are violating the law in public, because they don’t believe they will face any negative consequences for it.

This surely must be illegal … I counted seven heavily armed ice arses at a house where one black American woman was standing at the front door on her veranda! How can that be okay! Why is that okay?
