What has really gotten to me are comments by some obvious Trump supporters are that protestors are involved in interfering with agents' "official business" in MN, and therefore, are deserving of their injuries or death. Mooning is official business? Spraying non-violent protestors with irritant is "official business"? Killing is "official"? Conducting sweeps of non-violent immigrants, in the hopes of finding 1-2 real criminals is "official business"? We all know that none of these things mentioned are official business, but made-up nonsense by the WH to distract from negative issues, and conduct punitive actions against those states who don't follow T's marching orders, and never did, regardless of what he says. I read some interesting articles coming from law enforcement who know these agencies, and state that these ICE and BC guys have absolutely NO idea about urban law enforcement. They are clueless, ill-trained, and have massive issues themselves. They know only violent actions against a few who might be caught at borders or in targeted raids. They do not know how to operate in an urban community, except to exert ridiculous vicious attacks and mayhem. That's what they "know". What they don't know is how to de-escalate potential violent actions, target true offenders of the law, and the laws themselves that govern their actions, and that they are supposed to follow, like judicial warrants being one, merely handcuffing someone and taking them in for questioning for whatever. They have absolutely no concept of city law enforcement, as they have never done it before. And as they are masked, have no ID, have no official uniform, receive very poor training, carry a ridiculous amount of lethal weapons, we have no idea who these jamokes are, or what they represent, except crisis and potential death. Cops don't hide their faces, have their badges on, carry guns, not AR-15s in their hands, wear body cams, and most of all, are removed from service immediately if they hurt or kill someone; are investigated by their states' investigative bureaus. None of this is happening with this secret police force, which ICE and border control have become. And this so-called bargaining that T has supposedly come to with the Dems about future funding is truly ridiculous. Defund these jerks NOW. They are not trained for city law enforcement, and are truly driving Americans against Americans, in order to catch a few real criminals. It simply must stop, but it looks like the Dems, as usual, are giving in.
