He is, but he isn't doing it alone, and the bastards in the Heritage Society, are helping him, because a representative democracy, isn't what any of them want.
And the Heritage Foundation formed their playbook years ago and with Trump they have activated it to a tee. Trump is their happy pawn because they know how inept he is and that he is so easily manipulated. His fraud, corruption, cruelty and total incompetence works for them. It’s America that is screwed. Democrats must have their own strategy laid out and ready to activate. Gloves off. Down and dirty to stop this madness and bring all of them to justice. Sadly, I blame biden’s justice dept. for slow walking January 6 criminals by not going after the root and the rot of Trump and the minions. Now, it’s fire with fire.
Maybe paying off the jan 6 group will be the initial grouping of his personal army. Getting them ready, better organized and outfitted for a second capitol assault in 2028. The donald said he wasn't going to leave office. With a nice new secure fortress beside the Whitehouse, he might just be hanging around for a while. So much for the " beautiful " experimental republic.
Trump’s response as quoted here is the single most brazen and mendacious bit of rhetoric ever spoken by an American president.
I’ve been around for just over 80 years, and so I’ve heard more than a few self-serving words from more than a few presidents. I also taught American history for over 40 of those years. But I cannot think of a single instance in which an American president emitted anything close to such a collection of distortions and lies.
It is as if he is daring us to do something about it.
Jeff Tiedrich among others has pointed out a remarkable historical parallel: Trump's "Anti-Weaponization Fund" looks a lot like the "Adolf Hitler Fund of German Trade and Industry" set up in 1933, the year the Nazis seized absolute power in Germany. Administered by Hitler's aide Martin Bormann, it was used to bypass normal state bureaucracy and hand out massive, untraceable financial rewards to Nazi party leaders, the SS, and SA stormtroopers. It was financed by private corporate money, organized by Gustav Krupp as a corporate donation system in which German employers and corporations paid a voluntary, later forced, percentage of their profits directly to Hitler in appreciation for his services to them, mainly stabilizing the economy and crushing the unions. Trump's fund, in contrast, is financed entirely by taxpayer money. In short, Trump's slush fund is WORSE than Hitler's.
Thank you, for the article, Mary. I watched MSNOW. Hopefully this matter will be stopped before it happens. I have my doubts about that. This truly shows the President doesn’t care about any American people who pay taxes. The new acting Ag is not even remotely qualified for this job.

Deadly accurate.

The clock is ticking, Donald…
