Just pounded away then stood up and walked off. Not sure if it was all a setup , or a moment seized on for potential publicity. But gave a good idea of what kind of person he was.

I think Pretti's murder was a tipping point because it could no longer be called an anomaly. For a similar reason the number of agents involved kept it from being a personal matter.
