First of all, treason is defined in the Constitution, and no other definition matters. It is defined so narrowly that no American has been able to commit treason since 1945.
If somehow Trump managed to commit treason, it would depend on what he actually did, and when and how he did it in order to determine if it was protected by the immunity decision. The limits of the immunity decision are undefined and would be the subject of litigation if a crime were ever charged.
See the immunity decision - it only protects potus' actions within the scope of his oath, official duties and constitutional law.
Treason breaches all of them and pierces his immunity, even under the #DirtyJohn6 ruling.

They said very little. The scope of immunity has to be defined in subsequent litigation. SCOTUS returned the case to the DC court to apply the Court's decision to the case in question. Thst lower court's ruling would itself be the subject of endless litigation, which never happened, and probably never will. Trump is protected as President by the OLC opinion, and will be protected later by death or mental unfitness.
But no American can be convicted of treason at present because of the extremely narrow definition of treason in the Constitution. No American has been convicted of treason for acts committed after 1945.
