This is a technique usually done to manage internet advertising. Google can count clicks on remote sites this way. If you use the google Chrome browser instead, it takes a different path and misses Google's redirect engine completely, and you end up at the correct article URL and not at spoonsmore's profile.
Anyways, spoonamore then opened a bluesky account because of the exodus from twitter at the time. He's been posting there ever since.

You also have to be careful about calls to action. You cannot tell people what to do, because you can be complicit in their actions even though they are responsible for their own decisions.
This doesn't mean not to brainstorm with someone about what to do . It means being very specific and clear on defining things and boundaries (ie: protest peacefully and don't kill anyone).

Trump uses litigation. So, anything that is speculation about things that have NOT happened yet, MUST be identified as being "in my opinion" or "I am worried about xxx that yyy will happen" or called out as being fictional or hypothetical.
Everybody is allowed to have and express an opinion, discuss their thoughts, or to talk about worries.
You also have to be careful about calls to action. You cannot tell people what to do, because you can be complicit in their actions even though they are responsible for their own decisions.
This doesn't mean not to brainstorm with someone about what to do . It means being very specific and clear on defining things and boundaries (ie: protest peacefully and don't kill anyone).
It also means talking about different alternatives that force a choice, thereby shifting responsibility of their actions to what they chose to do. Doing nothing can be a choice too.
The Epstein files are a good example of such a minefield.
Until Schumer receives them on Friday August 15 2025 after invoking the "Rule of Five", nobody really knows what's in them. Not even Schumer's committee. They will be seeing it all for the first time.
Anything about what could be in them is speculation because it cannot be backed up by any fact checking.
We do not know if the committee will even release content publicly after receiving the files.
For all we know, their interest is making sure they themselves don't appear in the files.
So, do we talk about hypothetical content that could defame an innocent person, or do we wait two weeks and see what actually happens? There is a time for everything, and everything has its time.

Sorry, but I'm not getting his glee over Americans being able to see their health record. Maybe he's been in a coma (would not be surprised), but EMRs(electronic medical charts) have been in existence for over a decade. I can go on MyChart right now and see my history, doctors' notes, my diagnoses, medications, orders, etc etc. Am I missing something in his incoherent ranting? Perhaps.
