IMO, the scientists likely made the proper suggestions, but were given an impossible timeline for completion. When the paint and seal job took longer than expected, no one had enough awareness to consider the algae growth brewing in the pipes that would refill the Reflection Pool. Normal filtration methods wouldn't have been enough for that stagnated water. And now it sounds like they're going to repeat the same failure!
Maybe when your uncle is finally in prison, he can be forced to read this column and others like it out loud on national TV every day. This between hours of his daily "affirmations" that he will be forced to write out over and over: "I, Donald J. It amazes me, almost daily, just how pitiful and low and stupid the current regime is. There is no low they can't easily find a way to exceed with a new low. There is no blatantly ignorant stupid act or statement they put out that they don't usually show us they can go stupider and more ignorant without really trying, often in a matter of only minutes or hours. How embarrassing it is to have the entire allegedly ruling members of our government so totally incompetent and dishonest.
And now we are finding out that the MoU felon tRump signed contradicts the Iran Nuclear Agreement Act of 2015 (INARA), which guarantees congressional oversight of any international agreement regarding Iran's nuclear program. The executive branch has to submit the agreement text to Congress, in which a 30 day review period is mandatory. The President is barred from issuing waivers. Depending on the review decisions, the executive branch could be precluded from delivering relief until after the 60 day period ending Aug 16. By this time the US and the rest of the world could be in the midst of an economic collapse. This is where the "only I can fix it" mentality of the most malignant narcissist with delusions of grandeur has gotten us. The guy is a complete psychopath.

I found myself sinking in the equivalent of quicksand. The one thing about quicksand that you need to learn REALLY FAST is to stop what you’re doing and think. Continuing to try walking simply sucks you down deeper and deeper! Now is a time that it’s really, really important to stop, breath and reassess things.
Democrats, Republicans and Independents we all need to stop the insanity and THINK as if our life depends on it. Forget all the animosity, name calling and prejudices. Stop watching and listening to entities that promote animosity or negative viewpoints Start listening to opinions that are different than yours. YOUR and your children’s lives may depend on it. The worst that could happen is we all feel and live better, happier and less stressful lives.

I would call it a win if the country has free and fair elections and we move on from the incompetence and lack of knowledge/expertise but I just don’t see it happening. Republican Senators would need to relocate their morality and constitutional obligations, the military would need to understand what an illegal order is and have this understanding widespread. It will get worse before it gets better ( if it can get better). Maybe Europe can help us. Especially the “non-brilliant” ones.

I am not an ichthyologist or even an algae specialist but the first thing I thought of when the blooms occurred was fish and not gallons of poison. Why didn't they just put a few carp in there?
